Cryogenic innovation for decarbonisation, reliability and control of the energy infrastructure.

The Groupe Absolut has a unique know-how in cryogenic technology, i.e. refrigeration below -180°C and the liquification of gases (hydrogen, nitrogen, helium, etc.).

 

Thanks to this expertise and our recognised ability to break down technological barriers, for example in superconductivity and liquid hydrogen, we are anticipating the major changes in our energy system (increase in demand, reliability, intermittence, decarbonisation).

LIQUID HYDROGEN

By reducing the volume of hydrogen through liquefaction, we increase storage density. This reduces operating costs and facilitates access to liquid-to-liquid hydrogen..

SUPERCONDUCTIVITY

Superconductivity increases the efficiency of electrical transport by removing heat dissipation losses. It is suitable for high-stress environment (offshore cables, dense urban areas, etc.).
